Winner: Tyler Yarber -- Vote for prep football player of the week: Week 7

Here are this week's five nominees after their Week 7 gridiron performances. Voting ends at noon Tuesday.

-- Capital's Jakob Racimo blocked two punts, registered a sack, and had five catches for 87 yards and two touchdowns in the Cougars' 39-7 win over Black Hills.

-- North Thurston's Hayden Maliska rushed for 121 yards on 21 carries and scored all three of the Rams' touchdowns in a 24-6 win over Shelton to snap a three-game losing skid. 

-- W.F West's Tanner Gueller set a single-season school record for touchdown passes in a season (26 and counting) after throwing four TDs on 22 of 26 completions for 221 yards in the Bearcats' 44-21 win over River Ridge. 

-- Tumwater's Christian Cummings had 141 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns (three rushing) in the No. 1-ranked Thunderbirds' 59-20 win over Centralia to remain undefeated.

-- Rochester's Tyler Yarber had his fifth 200-plus-yard rushing game -- 270 yards on 34 carries and three TDs -- in the Warriors' 35-7 win over Forks to stay atop the 1A SWW Evergreen standings.
