Warehouse Rock Gym hosts bouldering event

Warehouse Rock Gym will host the seventh annual South Sound Pull Down on Nov. 2.

The bouldering competition has categories for climbers of all ages and abilities. There is a youth category for children 12 and younger. For adults, the categories will be beginner, intermediate, advanced, open and masters (40 and older).

There will be two sessions. The first starts at 10:30 a.m. with a rules explanation. Climbing will take place from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. The afternoon rules session is at 2 p.m., with climbing from 2:30-5:30 p.m. The gym will open at 9 a.m. for registration and check-in.

Registration is $35 in advance or $40 the day of the event. All competitors must also have a signed waiver on file at the gym.
