Washington Business Bank's profit nearly doubled in the third quarter, rising to $78,156 from $43,123 in the same period a year ago.
For the nine month period, the Olympia-based bank earned a profit of $285,816, a 28 percent increase from the same nine-month period in 2012.
Total risk based capital, a measure of how well-capitalized a bank is, rose to 15.3 percent at the end of the third quarter.
"Our team has done a great job of adding value to our clients which has produced better results for our shareholders," President and Chief Executive Jon Jones said in a statement.
Washington Business Bank was founded in 2002.
