Hockinson’s Diego DeLaTorre shot a 1-under-par 70 to grab a two-shot lead at Day 1 of the 2A District IV boys golf championships at Riverside Golf Course in Chehalis. DeLaTorre shot a sizzling 3-under 32 on the back nine and has a two-shot-overall lead over Black Hills’ Jake Shier, who shot a 1-over 72 for the day.
