Who’s Hot/Who’s Not

HOT

Jamie McMurray: It’s not every day you end a 108-race winless streak.

Jimmie Johnson: New verse, same as the first – Johnson is the Sprint Cup Series points leader.

Kyle Busch: Finished a restrictor-plate race and remained in title contention.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr.: Pulling away in the rookie of the year battle.

Johnny Sauter: He got a Truck win and his teammate, Matt Crafton, expanded his series points lead.

NOT

Kasey Kahne: It’s hard to imagine the season ending any worse.

Danica Patrick: A late green-flag pit stop turned into a nightmare at Talladega, Ala.

Brian Vickers: Once again, Vickers finds himself sitting out the rest of a NASCAR season because of a health issue.

Juan Pablo Montoya: Ended NASCAR career without a win on a restrictor-plate track, where he has run exceptionally well.
