We’ve become a nation afraid of disagreement

OlympiaOctober 26, 2013

T hank you Kathleen Rogers for your personal column on the Affordable Health Care Act. Most are afraid to speak the truth, and I admire your willingness to say it like it is. Regardless of our political affiliation, we have become a nation afraid to disagree with our leaders. We stood by and let this happen, and we trusted our government to do the right thing. They didn’t. We are all to blame for trusting our president and others that live under his power. In our defense, we have been sold a bill of goods. And not a very good one, at that.

The Olympian is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news. Some of the comments may be reprinted elsewhere in the site or in the newspaper. We encourage lively, open debate on the issues of the day, and ask that you refrain from profanity, hate speech, personal comments and remarks that are off point. Thank you for taking the time to offer your thoughts.
