Inslee’s letter to workers was out of line, pointless

OlympiaOctober 27, 2013

I have no love for any of our current leaders in Washington, D.C., but our governor’s biased statements made in a letter sent to state workers Thursday morning were equally out of line.

At a time when he could have taken the high ground and demonstrated some leadership, he chose to stoop and make partisan comments. His words were particularly out of place in a document that started out offering comfort to recently furloughed state workers. His comments quickly devolved into a political rant with gratuitous praise for President Barack Obama and the Affordable Care Act and pointless jabs at congressional Republicans.

Shame on him and his communications office.
