Police want help identifying two people suspected of stealing a wallet and withdrawing more than $20,000.

GIG HARBOR POLICE

Gig Harbor police on Wednesday asked for the public’s help in identifying two people suspected of stealing a wallet and withdrawing more than $20,000.

The man and woman broke into a car parked at the YMCA on Sept. 23 and took credit cards and checks. Police said they then used the stolen checks to deposit and withdraw more than $20,000 from Key Bank branches in Fircrest, Tacoma, Puyallup, Federal Way and Ballard.

The man is in his 30s with short brown hair and an unidentified tattoo on the left side of his neck. The woman is in her 20s with long brown hair. The pair were spotted in a newer gold Chevrolet Tahoe.
