Tickets are on sale for Zoolights, the annual holiday light display at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium.

Crews began installing more than 525,000 lights early last month. This year’s festival will include a new display of a polar bear family frolicking on ice floes. It will include 3-D displays — one of an eagle swooping down to snatch a salmon and the other of a tiger head, zoo officials said.

Zoolights runs 5-9 p.m. from Nov. 29 to Jan. 5. except Dec. 24.

Discounted tickets are $7.50; zoo members’ tickets are $4.25. Tickets at the gate will cost $8.75. Children 2 and younger are admitted at no charge.

Tickets can be bought online at www.pdza.org.
