Republicans proposed changes to the ACA bill

GrapeviewNovember 2, 2013

Regards a letrter by Donnie Lindsey on Oct. 15: Your question why no changes were made to Obamacare when the bill was passed overlooks the many amendments to the bill from the Republican side in order to make it more palatable and less expensive and eventually detrimental to the health care of the United States. All of which were thrown out by the Democrats who didn’t know all that was in the bill themselves.

As Nancy Pellosi said “we have to pass the bill so we can see what is in it.” There have already been complaints about cost and coverage in the plans so far presented in the health exchanges set up to help people find an insurance plan that suits their circumstances.
