Thurston Sheriff's deputies arrest four in burglary attempt

Staff writerNovember 17, 2013

The Thurston County Sheriff's Office arrested three men and one woman on suspicion of residential burglary Sunday morning after they were caught inside and near a home in the 1100 block of 76th Ave N.E.

According to the Thurston County Sheriff's Office:

About 6:30 a.m. Sunday, deputies responded to a home alarm -- an alarm monitoring system placed in the unoccupied waterfront home by the Sheriff's Office because it had been burglarized several times before.

Deputies arrived at the home and arrested three suspects inside the house and a fourth hiding nearby. It appeared that entry was gained through a window, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Due to the Sheriff's Office quick response, nothing was taken or damaged.

The following were arrested:

A 24-year-old man from Roy; a 28-year-old man from McKenna; a 31-year-old man from McKenna; and a 29-year-old woman from Roy. The woman also was arrested on suspicion of methamphetamine possession.
