Column reminds us that pet owners also grieve

Thank you to Lisa Pemberton for her moving article on the loss of her dog, Hunter. Hunter is honored in the article by the telling of “his story.” This should remind us all of the special bonds and attachments that people have with pets.

Too often pet lovers aren’t allowed time to grieve or even share their loss with others who may think, “it was only a dog.” It was very moving that the “Busy Mama” column honored the loyalty and love that Hunter gave to his family. What a wonderful story.
