    2013 Olympia Toy Run Route

Drivers should expect heavy traffic and delays Saturday during the 36th Olympia Toy Run.

Starting at 1 p.m. Saturday, thousands of motorcyclists will depart South Sound Center in Lacey to deliver toys at Marathon Park in Olympia. The motorcycles will travel along Pacific Avenue to State Avenue, through downtown Olympia and onto Deschutes Parkway.

In past years, the Toy Run has lasted up to two hours. The annual event brings motorcyclists together to collect toys and donations for The Salvation Army’s Toy N’ Joy Shop, which distributes Christmas gifts to needy children.

More information and a route map are available online at http://olytoyrun. com.
