Johnathan Parker, 20, of Centralia was driving his 2000 Kia Spectra westbound  when he lost control of his vehicle, crossed the center line and struck a 2006 Freightliner tanker, driven by Kevin L. Geer, 52 of Tenino.

Parker and his passenger, Tiara Kalebaugh, 18, of Pe Ell died at the scene, according to the release. Parker was not wearing a seat belt, but Kalebaugh was.

Geer was not injured.
