Pink Martini playing April 16 at Washington Center

The Washington Center for the Performing Arts announced today that Portland's "little orchestra" Pink Martini will perform in Olympia at 7:30 p.m. April 16.

Pink Martini – which includes 10-12 musicians – blends classical, jazz and old-fashioned pop and has collaborated around the world with singers such as Carol Channing and Rufus Wainwright, puppeteer Basil Twist, filmmaker Gus Van Sant, and the cast of Sesame Street. Their seventh studio album, released this fall, features singers China Forbes and Storm Large along with Wainwright, The von Trapps and Ari Shapiro.

Tickets are $64 to $96 for adults, $58 to $86 for students, seniors and military, and $32 to $48 for youth. For more information, go to washingtoncenter.org.
