Visitor and Convention Bureau seeks items for legislative gift bags

Staff writerDecember 24, 2013

The Olympia Lacey Tumwater Visitor and Convention Bureau is seeking items for its "welcome back" legislative gift bags for the upcoming legislative session.

The bags will be presented to legislative members and their staff to remind them about the things they can go, see and do in Thurston County.

The bags are delivered during the first week of the legislative session.

"The bags are a great marketing opportunity to promote our area businesses and attractions," VCB executive director George Sharp said in a statement.

To contribute an item for the gift bags, contact Jennifer Leach at or call 360-704-7544.

The deadline to get items to the VCB is Jan. 10.
