Hoquiam man who died in Capitol Forest log truck crash identified

Staff writerDecember 26, 2013

A man who died in a log truck accident Monday in the Capitol Forest was 37-year-old Michael Webber of Hoquiam, the State Patrol said.

Webber was driving a 1996 maroon Kenworth truck with a 1962 Peerless log trailer about a mile south of state Route 8, when the rig left a forest service road while trying to make a curve, troopers said.

The truck hit a large tree and stump.
