Mason County sex offender wanted by police

The Mason County Sheriff's Office has issued a bulletin regarding Alex James Frost, a 22-year-old sex offender who has absconded from his registration requirement.

According to the bulletin, Frost entered a guilty plea on Nov. 15, 2010 in Mason County Superior Court to charges of communication with a minor for immoral purposes domestic violence. This conviction stems from Frost, at 18, sexually assaulting a 13-year-old.

Members of Frost's family stated that he is believed to be using methamphetamines, and he has anger issues, the press release states.

Alex James Frost is described as a white male, 5 feet 9 inches and 125 lbs., with brown hair and blue eyes. His whereabouts is unknown.
