Little Creek Casino Resort completes work on smoke-free casino

Little Creek Casino Resort in Shelton has completed work on its smoke-free casino.

The project added 5,300 square feet of new space and also remodeled more than 10,000 square feet of existing space, according to a news release.

The smoke-free casino has more than 100 slot machines and added table games. There's also a bar, espresso and a deli.

"We are pleased to offer the public with the best and latest in gaming, with the option of a smoke-free environment," Little Creek Casino Resort Chief Executive Michael Starr said in a statement.

A grand opening tour is set for 10:30 a.m. Jan. 8.

Little Creek Casino Resort is owned and operated by the Squaxin Island Tribe.
