B y the numbers The number of members nationwide in Pheasants Forever, a record for the conservation group. Pheasants Forever was incorporated in August 1982. By 1985, Pheasants Forever had 12 chapters and 1,000 members. In 2005, the group started its Quail Forever division. There are now more than 600 chapters in the United State and Canada, including the Puget Sound chapter that meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at Johnny’s in Fife at 7 p.m. To learn more about the group, go to pheasantsforever.org.
