Try fitness activities, sample food at Family Health & Fitness Night in Tumwater

Try fitness activities and sample nutritious recipes during the Tumwater School District’s second annual Family Health & Fitness Night from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 30 at the Tumwater High School gym, 700 Israel Road.

The free event is part of the district’s comprehensive effort to fight childhood obesity, and is tied to a three-year, $1 million Carol M. White Physical Education Program grant from the U.S. Department of Education.
