Football: Tumwater QB verbally commits to Central Washington

Tumwater High quarterback Jayden Croft announced via Twitter he has verbally committed to play football at Central Washington for first-year coach Ian Shoemaker.

As a senior last fall, Croft completed 53 percent (84 for 156) of his passes for 1,448 yards and 11 touchdowns, leading Tumwater to the Class 2A state title game for a second consecutive year.

Signing Day is Feb. 5.
