Thurston County officials say they don’t know when a bridge over Salmon Creek on Littlerock Road Southwest could reopen.

“We’re meeting with engineering staff to decide what exactly the temporary fix is going to be,” road operations manager Lucy Mills said on Tuesday.

She declined to give a timeline on when it might reopen, saying the work is weather sensitive.

Officials closed Bridge No. L4 on Monday on Littlerock Road Southwest between 110th Ave. Southwest and 93rd Avenue Southwest on Monday due to structural deficiencies, according to news release. Drivers in the area are directed to a nearly four-mile detour that goes along Case Road Southwest via 93rd Avenue Southwest and 113th Avenue.
