State should increase jobs, not daily call for revenue

OakvilleJanuary 31, 2014

The governor wants $500 million for this and 11 cents-a-gallon tax for that and more money for education. Every day it is a new call for increased revenue/taxes.

Sir, the easiest and least painful way to increase revenue is to have more taxpayers. I have yet to see you take any measures to grow employment. More jobs mean more taxpaying citizens and fewer in need of government assistance. That is a win/win proposition; don’t you think?

What could government do or not do that would stimulate job growth in the state of Washington?
