Man dies in motorhome crash on SR-8

The Washington State Patrol reports that an adult male was killed after his motorhome crashed Wednesday afternoon on State Route 8 in Thurston County.

The crash was reported about 2:15 p.m. Wednesday. According to Trooper Guy Gill, the vehicle’s lone occupant was confirmed dead at the scene near milepost 18.

The collision’s cause is under investigation, and the victim has not been identified. Witness reported no erratic driving from the victim prior to the crash.

At 3 p.m., a tow truck was on the scene and the left lane was blocked, Gill reported.
