DSHS office supervisor posts racist photos

Staff writerFebruary 14, 2014

An office supervisor with the state Department of Social and Health Services was not disciplined for posting racist photos on Instagram, according to KING 5 News.

The images, which reportedly included a photo of an African-American baby eating watermelon and a photo with a message about how "crime is for black people," were posted from the manager's personal computer during non-work hours, the KING 5 report says.

The supervisor works at the Tacoma DSHS office.
