ACA shift to workforce sounds like a good thing

OlympiaFebruary 15, 2014

OK, let me get this straight: 2.5 million people will leave the workforce over the next 10 years because they are no longer locked into their jobs to keep their health insurance because of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare). That’s 250,000 per year voluntarily leaving the workforce.

Given that there are three job applicants to every job opening out there, just itching to join the workforce, I’m pretty sure those jobs left behind would be snapped up by someone who is unemployed, thus reducing unemployment for those who want to work.

How is this a bad thing?
