OlympianFebruary 20, 2014

Mason County Sheriff’s Office is on the scene of an officer-involved shooting that occurred Thursday morning in the 200 block of Southeast Channel Point Road, according to Chief Deputy Ryan Spurling.

“It started off as a disturbance call,” Spurling said. “We have a suspect shot, but not life-threatening injuries.”

None of the deputies were injured, according to a Sheriff's Office spokesman. No other details were immediately available.
