The Washington Center for the Performing Arts will celebrate its renovations with a dedication Thursday, Feb. 27, which kicks off at 5 p.m. with a reception, followed by a program from 6-7 p.m., at 512 Washington St. SE, in downtown Olympia.

The public is invited to come and recognize the Center's past, honor its present, and celebrate its future.

The evening will feature entertainment by Ballet Northwest, Masterworks Choral Ensemble, Student Orchestra of Greater Olympia, and Ed Echtle, historian.

The $4.6 million renovation includes new stone and brick siding, pedestrian awnings along the front of the Washington Center, a grander and well-lit entrance, a new ticketing booth, glass doors, large poster display cases, a marquee, and a new roof.
