World renowned musician and educator visits Tumwater High School

Visiting music teacher Dr. Dijana Ihas conducted a Feb 19th clinic in orchestra teacher Peter Klinzman's class at Tumwater High School as part of a two-day instructional visit. A world renowned musician and music educator from Sarajevo now living Salem, Dr Ihas lived there during the worst years of the Bosnian conflict, and was a member of the famed Sarajevo quartet which is prominently portrayed in two well known books "The Cellist of Sarajevo" and "Love Thy Neighbor."
