Death penalty ban vs. marijuana legalization

OlympiaFebruary 25, 2014

find it inconsistent that Gov. Jay Inslee feels compelled to ignore current law on the death penalty and yet feels he must obey the will of the people when it comes to the legalization of marijuana, which is still a federally controlled substance. Far more people will be killed on the highway due to an ever-increasing number of marijuana-intoxicated drivers than will ever be executed for a capital crime. Where’s the justice in that, governor?
