Shelter demeans life from natural survival

Regarding the People’s House proposal; all I have to say is: If you build it, they will come. We are not allowed to feed the wildlife because it attracts more, and supposedly brings health and sanitation issues. It teaches them to hang around for handouts.

Humans are no different. You are demeaning the human nature from it’s natural healthy way of surviving, you are rewarding them for anti-social behavior.

We have had a stabbing here in front of Boardwalk apartments, unlawful entering, peeping into windows, bumming money and cigarettes often. I ask: Would anyone want their elders to live with even more of this type of atmosphere?

The proposed location is a terrible choice, when there are buildings downtown that at the present time make our city look like a war zone. That would be a better choice. If this project indeed goes forward, it goes without my approval.
