Internet providers are a common utility

SheltonFebruary 28, 2014

It’s time to reclassify the Internet service providers as a common carrier like utilities. I cannot begin to tell you the battle I had with Comcast. I had to go to my state attorney general. It was incredible. As I was writing a three-page poem, the queen of Comcast called. I got everything I wanted and she heard every detail of my complaint. They’ve gotten too big and now they’ll be megalithic. We deserve net neutrality now.

Why does South Korea have a faster and cheaper Internet than the U.S.? Let alone the NSA ... but that’s another tale.
