Stumped by corporate grocery store location

OlympiaMarch 10, 2014

In perusing the matter of news, I have only this to say: Oh, how exciting! There is something going up in that ugly empty lot on Yelm Highway in Lacey. It’s about time, right?

Considering all the new neighborhoods and a new elementary school, it would be nice to have a small park with bike paths for the little ones to ride safely, maybe some batting cages and a dog park would be nice.

I was so anxious to see what’s going to be there. When I found out what was being built it really chapped my butt. A Walmart. A Walmart grocery? Don’t we have two fine grocery stores within a stone’s throw?

I will never understand the corporates that only look at dollar signs. Maybe it’s best that I don’t.
