Lacey police are seeking an unknown suspect or suspects who broke into a storage facility in the 8000 block of Martin Way Wednesday and stole a .357 Smith & Wesson "highway patrolman" handgun, along with a generator and a toolchest full of tools.

Entry to the storage unit was made by unscrewing a roof vent on the top of the storage unit, according to a news release.

Anyone with information about who committed this crime is encouraged to call the Lacey Police Department at 360-459-4333 or Thurston County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS. Crime Stoppers callers never have to give a name, and are eligible for up to $1,000 of reward money for information leading to an arrest and a conviction in a criminal case.
