Lacey police seek info in construction site thefts

Lacey police are seeking those responsible for a theft of copper wire and industrial heaters from a construction site on Jayden Lane Northeast.

The crime was reported to Lacey police in the Campus Ridge area on Feb. 28, according to a news release from Thurston County Crime Stoppers.

The construction site supervisor told police that a suspect or suspects entered two houses under construction during the overnight hours and stole three industrial heaters, two power cords and 40 to 50 feet of copper wire.

The heaters and power cords are valued at about $1,100.

Anyone with information about the crime is urged to call Lacey police at 360-459-4333, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Crime Stoppers pays up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest or charges filed in connection with a case, and callers never have to leave their name.
