Planning commission chair should resign

OlympiaMarch 20, 2014

T he Olympia Planning Commission head (Max Brown) should step down. He allowed a closed meeting, where the public was not invited. This meeting allowed local westside Olympia developers the opportunity to go ahead with their project, without public transparency. We need transparency with the Olympia Planning Commission. This is not correct protocol to allow these meetings where the public is not invited, but the Olympia commissioners and the developers are invited to talk and plan. This is wrong.

The Olympian is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news. Some of the comments may be reprinted elsewhere in the site or in the newspaper. We encourage lively, open debate on the issues of the day, and ask that you refrain from profanity, hate speech, personal comments and remarks that are off point. Thank you for taking the time to offer your thoughts.
