The Mason County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating Richard Lawrence Park, 59, of Elma, who has advanced brain cancer, and is missing from his home.

Park was last seen at around 3 or 4 p.m. Wednesday, in the 1900 block of Star Lake Drive W, in Elma, possibly carrying a fishing pole. A search was initiated around 10 p.m. Wednesday, and as of Thursday morning, he had not been found. No vehicles are associated with this man.

Families state that due to his brain cancer, Park's functional age is that of a 12-year-old, and his behavior closely resembles that of an Alzheimer's patient.

He is described as a white male, 6 feet and 185 lbs., with a gray gotee, gray hair and brown eyes.

If you have seen or have information regarding Richard Park, call 911 immediately, or contact the Mason County Sheriff's Office, 360-427-7761, case #: 14-03449.
