Lacey police seek info in commercial burglary

Lacey police are seeking the public's assistance in finding the suspect or suspects who cut a hole in a chain link fence at Capitol City Lawn & Brookstone Industries and stole $6,000 worth of lawn equipment.

During the March 20 burglary, the suspect or suspects entered a large enclosed trailer at the Sandy Lane NE business and stole lawn mowers, chainsaws, leaf blowers and trimmers, along with 60 gallons of fuel siphoned from other vehicles parked inside the fenced area.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Lacey Police Department at 360-459-4333 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Crime Stoppers tipsters are eligible for up to $1,000 in reward money for information leading to an arrest and charged being filed in the case. Also, Crime Stoppers tipsters never have to leave a name.
