Hanna, a member of the band Bikini Kill, was recently the subject of a documentary, "The Punk Singer," chronicling the 1990s feminist punk scene called riot grrrls that was born and bred in Olympia. The film also showed her life in New York City now and her ongoing struggle with Lyme Disease.

Tickets are $25 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at stgpresents.org.

The Olympian is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news.
