UPDATE: A missing 14-year-old from Shelton has been found safe, according to a news release from the Mason County Sheriff's Office.
PREVIOUS STORY: The Mason County Sheriff's Office is actively looking for a missing teenage girl.
Diana Torres, 14, was last seen in the Mountain View area of Shelton on Friday, March 21. She left messages with family members saying she planned to walk to her mother's house on Capital Hill, however, she never arrived.
Diana is described as a white female, 5 feet 3 inches and 118 lbs. She wears braces, and has long brown hair and brown eyes. It's unknown what color of clothes she was wearing.
Family members originally reported Diana as a runaway, so a search was not started. On Wednesday, the family requested that Diana be listed as missing. There is no evidence of foul play.
