BHR joined cleanup of incredible community

OlympiaMarch 29, 2014

Behavioral Health Resources had the opportunity to participate in Oly Clean 2014 last Saturday with our BHR Gives Back Team. We joined over 300 other Olympia residents in picking up the litter in our area parks and streets (and the 1.5-mile section of the Chehalis Western Trail that BHR staff cleaned). Then 1-800-GOT-JUNK picked up more than 4,000 pounds of collected debris that volunteers cleared.

Our hats are off to Olympia Memes for organizing this event and to all those who participated. This is another great reason why we all are so fortunate to live and work in this incredible community. We don’t wait for someone else to make our world a better place to live — we join together and make it so!

The Olympian is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news. Some of the comments may be reprinted elsewhere in the site or in the newspaper. We encourage lively, open debate on the issues of the day, and ask that you refrain from profanity, hate speech, personal comments and remarks that are off point. Thank you for taking the time to offer your thoughts.
