Mudslide spokesperson has been outstanding

LaceyMarch 31, 2014

I believe most people have been following news about the massive landslide in Snohomish County with loss of life, as yet, to be determined. For the past several days, I have been following TV reporting about the disaster. The reporting has all been good, but John Pennington, the Emergency Management director for Snohomish County has just been outstanding. He has reported, nearly nonstop, with extreme clarity, patience, and compassion, even to the point of nearly breaking down at times. I don’t know when he sleeps. I hope he gets some recognition for his tremendous efforts.
