Traditions Cafe has added a second show by Scottish group Battlefield Band after the first show April 8 sold out.

The band will now perform two concerts next week, at 8 p.m. April 8 and 9, at Traditions Café and World Folk Art, 300 Fifth Ave. SW, Olympia. Tickets for the Wednesday, April 9, show are $20 for general admission, $15 for students and those with low income. Call 360-705-2819 to get yours.

Inspired by the heritage of Celtic music and fired by Scottish culture, Battlefield Band has been at the forefront of a revival in Scottish music, combing ancient and modern instruments such as bagpipes, fiddle, synthesizer, guitar, flutes, bodhran drum and accordion.
