Applicants need to be residents of Thurston County for at least one academic year, and graduating seniors at a Thurston County high school who intend to pursue a career in the arts and who have enrolled or will be enrolling in a future course of study to that end.

The deadline for applications is April 30. The successful candidate will be announced in May, and the award presented during a Washington Center event in May or June 2014.
