Olympia-area businesses set to participate in Oso mudslide fundraiser

Washington State Employees Credit Union also will donate $5,000

Several Olympia-area businesses will participate in a Oso mudslide relief fundraiser on Thursday by donating a percentage of their sales to the Oso charity of their choice.

Here are the businesses: Blend Cafe, Pellegrino's Italian Kitchen, River's Edge, Swing Wine Bar and Cafe, The Lucky Lunch Box on Capitol Boulevard, Traditions World Cafe and Marchetti Wines on Fifth Avenue, downtown Olympia.

The Washington State Employees Credit Union also will donate $5,000 to the Northwest Credit Union Foundation. That money, plus other credit union donations, will then be pooled and given to the United Way of Snohomish County.

WSECU members also can make donations at any branch, or can donate by phone by calling 800-562-0999.
