50 Year Old Logging Safety Illustrations Resurface

Standing in the Dept. of Labor and Industries Tumwater headquarters April 1st retired L&I graphic artist, Johnny Mildenberger talks about a series of his 50-year-old illustrations on display that depict common causes for logging fatalities and disabling injuries. A former Walt Disney illustrator on such classics as "101 Dalmatians" and "Sleeping Beauty," Mildenberger's logging artworks were intended as safety awareness illustrations targeted towards the logging community.
