Need to remodel your bathroom? Repair your roof? Get a little help with your landscaping project?

The Olympia Master Builder's Big Home and Garden Show is this weekend, featuring more than 100 vendors at Saint Martins University in Lacey.

The show runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday in the university's Marcus Pavilion. Admission is $5 for those older than 12 (kids get in free), but those who arrive in the first hour Saturday (between 10 and 11 a.m.) get half off the regular admission price. Active and retired military also receive half off admission during the entire show with valid military ID. Seniors get half-priced admission on Sunday.

While the vendors are focused on adult home-improvement projects, on Saturday the show will host a Lego brick building contest for kids in two categories: for ages 5 to 8 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., and for ages 9 to 12 between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. Get more information and a registration form at www.omb.org.

And there will be food, courtesy of the Taste of the OMB Big Home and Garden Show, from 5-7 p.m. Saturday. A $15 Taste ticket gets you eight wine tastings plus admission to the show all weekend.

Parking is free at the event. And the Master Builders are offering a $2 off admission coupon on the omb.org website.

The Marcus Pavilion is at 5000 Abbey Way SE, Lacey. For more information, visit omb.org or call 360-754-0912.
