Olympia police were searching Saturday for the man who robbed a Toys R Us store.

Officers were called at 2:53 p.m. to the store at 1000 Cooper Point Road. According to police, the armed and masked robber entered the store, showed a handgun and took an undisclosed amount of money from cash registers at the service desk.

No injuries were reported.

Police used K-9 units to try to track the robber, who fled toward Capital Mall. Some cash was left behind at the scene and recovered by police, police Sgt. Jim Partin said.

The robber was described as a white, slim man between 24 and 30 years old and about 5 feet 10. He was wearing a black, short-sleeve shirt and blue jeans, police said.
