Daffodils brighten Evergreen Parkway

OlympiaApril 16, 2014

Since I live near The Evergreen State College area, I drive Evergreen Parkway almost daily. This time of year I am always greeted by rows of colorful daffodils along the road. They are always a welcome sight. Kudos to the students of McLane Elementary School for planting and sharing these harbingers of spring. And kudos to Ralph Munro for keeping that area of Evergreen Parkway mowed and free of litter. His efforts are noticed and appreciated.

While I’m at it, kudos to Puget Sound Energy for doing preventive maintenance in our area by cutting down tree branches that have the potential to interfere with power lines. Hopefully that will eliminate those pesky power outages we often experience.
